Stürmer Maschinen GmbH was honored for its sustainable successful business development in recent years with the award "Bavaria’s best 50".

Munich. Also in 2016 honored the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology again the 50 fastest growing medium-sized companies with the award "Bavaria’s best 50". The price recognizes the most dynamic medium-sized owner-managed companies for their outstanding achievements.  Honored were SMEs, which increased the number of its employees and its turnover on average in recent years. The winners were selected from 2000 SMEs considering central criteria such economic stability, sustainability, sales and employee development and a sustainable successful business development.

On July 18th, 2016 Stürmer Maschinen was honored with this award, after initial application, by the Bavarian State Minister for Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology, Mrs. Ilse Aigner, at a ceremony in the Imperial Hall of the Munich Residence. CEO Kilian Stürmer and Authorized Officer and total Sales Manager Robert Stürmer accept the honor with pleasure.

Stürmer Maschinen was founded in 1982 by Kilian Stürmer as a machinery Wholesale with factory representatives and today has a leading position in supplying the German machine-dealers. Over the last five years the company has increased the above mentioned criteria well above average and currently employ about 260 people at its sites Hallstadt and Pettstadt.

To the corporate group Stürmer in Hallstadt belongs Stürmer Maschinen GmbH, Stürmer Werkzeuge Maschinen KG, Optimum Maschinen Germany GmbH with own factory in Asia and the Fini Germany GmbH as a German branch of a leading compressor manufacturer form Italy. Subsidiaries and investments are maintained in several European countries.

The Stürmer Maschinen GmbH supplies around 2 000 dealers in Germany, in 24 European and in 43 besides European countries with metal working machines, compressed air technology, wood working machines, welding technology, cleaning and workshop technology. Due to the strong expansion in the recent years, coupled with the commissioning of the new logistics center in Pettstadt in 2014, the course is set for growth in the future.

With the award "Bavaria’s best 50" honors the Bavarian State Ministry sustainably successful development of the Franconian Company. The management and the entire staff are very proud and happy about this award.
